APSASOL HIDOX 500 mg/g - Powder

Composition: Doxycycline (hyclate) 500 mg/g.

Target species and indications: Poultry (broiler chickens): Colibacillosis and Chronic Respiratory Disease caused by doxycycline-susceptible bacteria. Swine (pigs for fattening): Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex caused by doxycycline-susceptible Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Rabbits: Treatment and metaphylaxis of infections caused by doxycycline-susceptible Pasteurella multocida.

Posology: Broiler chickens: 15 - 30 mg of medicine/kg of b.w./day, for 3 - 5 consecutive days in drinking water. Pigs for fattening 20 mg of medicine/kg of b.w./day, for 5 consecutive days in drinking water. Rabbits: 120 mg of medicine/kg of b.w./day, for 5 consecutive days in drinking water.

Withdrawal period: Swine (pigs for fattening): Meat: 2 days. Poultry (broiler chickens) Meat: 7 days. Eggs: Its use is not authorized in layers whose eggs are used for human consumption. Do not use in the 4 weeks prior to the start of laying. Rabbits: Meat: 4 days.
