APSAMIX OXITETRACICLINA 20% - Medicated premix
Composition: Oxytetracycline (dihydrate) 200 mg/g.
Target species and indications: Swine (suckling and fattening pigs): Treatment of bacterial enteritis produced by susceptible microorganisms. Swine (pigs for fattening): Treatments for infectious processes included in the Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex, caused by microorganisms susceptible to oxytetracycline, such as Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica and/or Haemophilus parasuis.
Posology: Oral administration in food. For the treatment of bacterial enteritis: Animals under six weeks of age: 44 mg of medicine/kg b.w./day for 5 - 7 days. Animals older than 6 weeks of age: 22 mg of medicine/kg b.w./day for 5 - 7 days. For the treatment of infectious processes included in the Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex: Pigs for fattening: 150 mg of medicine/kg b.w./day for 7 days.
Withdrawal period: Swine (suckling and fattening pigs): Meat: 5 days.
